Is Tupac Shakur’s Virtual Resurrection Good For Marketers?

Tupac Shakur performed at the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California last Sunday night.   It was reportedly an impressive set, all the more so since Tupac was slain in 1996.  Shakur was resurrected as a hologram (or according to Russell Potter writing in the New York Times a ?Pepper?s Ghost?), and video of the event shows an eerily lifelike Shakur strutting around the stage and hailing Coachella by name.   Which is doubly impressive as the Coachella festival started three years after his death.  Tupac?s second number was a duet with Snoop Dog.
